Backpacking Tips to Bali

Backpacking is a form of low-cost travel. It includes the use of a backpack or other luggage that easily carried for long distances or long periods of time; the use of public transport; inexpensive lodging; a longer duration of the trip when compared with conventional vacations and an interest in meeting the locals as well as seeing the sights. For those of you who want a cheap holiday in Bali, or wish to travel at minimal costs, here are some tips of us while you backpacking to Bali.

• Take just a bag or luggage, sufficient clothing, and other necessary equipment. Usually people who do backpacking are among the young. The trip can be done at home country or abroad.


• Avoid holiday seasons, such as June-August school holidays, Eid holidays, Christmas and New Year or also long weekend. In such a holiday period, all cost would rise.


• Find yourself a cheap hotel. Almost no agencies that offer hotels at cheap prices, so you better look for yourself. In Kuta or Legian, cheap hotels located in Poppies Lane area, roads Melasti and Jalan Benesari. You can first check rooms and rental, if not match, you can go to another hotel. You can also rend a small house or a boarding room with the daily or weekly system.


• If your budget is limited, other than the rental car, you can also rend a motorbike. Renting a motorbike in Bali somewhat complicated, especially since motorcycles are rented mostly uninsured. You can still rend a motorbike but with a high level of vigilance. For example if you lose a rented motorbike then it will be complicated affairs. The safest way is you rent a car as well the driver, the cheapest cars such as Karimun Estilo or Toyota Avanza. A Note, you should not rend Jimny or Katana, because the average condition is very uncomfortable.


• Buy a cheap meal. While staying in a hotel or lodging, please also goes around to looks where cheap eats places. In Bali, there are a lot of food stalls, Padang dishes, Java specialties, Balinese and others. Here are some of the tourist attractions that must be visited while backpacking in Bali.

1. Sukawati Art Market
For the backpacker, the most inexpensive souvenirs market in Bali is Sukawati Art Market. Alternatively are Guwang art market, located is only about 1 kms. The route from Kuta to Sukawati Art Market, Sunset Road - By Pass Sanur - Batubulan - Celuk - Sukawati. This market is located in Sukawati, Gianyar Bali. Easily to find especially if you use a rental car and driver services.

2. Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful places in Bali by a reputable travel magazine. View that can be seen is people playing surf, temple on the rocks (Uluwatu), sunset and of course also do not miss to watch Kecak dance.

3. Tanjung Benoa Watersport
This placed is a must-visit tourist during a vacation to Bali. Tanjung Benoa has watered attractions such as banana boats, jetski, parasailing, seawalker, turtle island etc.

4. Waterblow Nusa Dua
Waterblow is splashing sea water crashings against the rocks. Which is well suited for making pre-wedding photos or picture as a couple.
